The Division of Infectious Diseases, under the direction of Dr. Richard Cindrich, is a leader in the treatment and prevention of infectious diseases, including Zika, HIV/AIDS, West Nile Virus, drug resistant bacteria, influenza, tuberculosis, Ebola, and Legionnaires' disease. The specialized inpatient program and nationally recognized Center for Comprehensive Care are providing primary treatment, educational services, and continuing research. Availability of National Institute of Health funded clinical trials for patients and numerous other grant awards are a further tribute to the efforts of Dr. Cindrich and his team.
